The Ślązak, Zapiór and Partners Law Firm is one of the largest law firms operating in southern Poland. It provides comprehensive advisory services in all fields of law related to business activity.Beginnings
The Ślązak, Zapiór and Partners Law Firm commenced its operation in 2002 in Katowice. The founders: Attorney Krystian Ślązak and Attorney Arkadiusz Robert Zapiór have been partners since 1995.
The first office of the Law Firm, which was then made of a dozen or so members, was located in the very centre of Katowice. After seven years of its operation, in 2009 the partnership was transformed into a limited partnership called Ślązak, Zapiór i Wspólnicy – Kancelaria Adwokatów i Radców Prawnych sp. k.
The Law Firm also moved its office. For the following ten years it was located in the Stara Huta Office Centre in Katowice at Al. Korfanego in the district of Wełnowiec. In the industrial loft interiors of the revitalised building of the 19th century zinc smelter, there were already several dozen employees working for the Law Firm.
SZiP Law Firm at present
Given the dynamically operating company, a team of almost 50 experts providing legal aid and advisory services in almost all sectors of the market, the decision was made to construct an own office building.
In 2018, the official ceremony of laying a cornerstone for the new project was held, in the Katowice district of Wełnowiec, which was an obvious choice. In the following months, a modern new and, what most important, own minimalistic office building was constructed.
On 1 April 2021 Ślązak, Zapiór i Wspólnicy – Kancelaria Adwokatów i Radców Prawnych sp. k. (limited partnership) was transformed into Ślązak, Zapiór i Partnerzy – Kancelaria Adwokatów i Radców Prawnych sp. p. (limited liability partnership). As a result of the transformation, the legal form of the company changed.

On 2 January 2024, a new company: Ślązak, Zapiór i Partnerzy Tax Doradztwo Podatkowe sp.p., as a tax development of the Law Firm’s potential, commenced its operation. SZiP TAX brings new quality to the tax consultancy market and combines a multidisciplinary approach with flexibility in facing challenges.

Pro bono activity
Strategic goals of our Law Firm are connected with responsible business and sustainable development. We combine business activity with the development of social activities and attention to the application of high standards in every aspect having an impact on our environment.
We take many actions to provide free legal aid, including financial support, to organisations and associations. In particular, we care for children.
For a dozen of years we have been providing legal advisory services to the St. Pio Orphanage in Mysłowice and legal support to the Association for the Disabled People SPES.
We are also a partner of the “Płyniemy Polsko” expedition and project, which is organised in cooperation with the Moto H2O Sports Club in Rybnik, whose purpose is to support people with cerebral palsy and autism.
We take part in actions held by Szlachetna Paczka and prepare Christmas gifts for families in need.
